Wisconsin-Madison cited in the New York Times, exercisers emit more signals and stenches that attract mosquitoes than couch potatoes do. Specifically, body temp and skin smells, like lactic acid, are the bug’s version of a dinner bell. That 6-mile post-work run I do not only tones my legs, it turns me into a veritable buffet on the move.
